The Lady Hawks have improved on there season’s start, by overcoming O/P social last week winning 2-1. One of the goals was from a beautiful drag to the top of the D, struck in by Claire goslin who was a long way from the back of the feild. The second was from a cross to Christina who swept the ball home. With a taste for goals they continued to a draw against Glenbrook last weekend. 1-1. With a goal coming from Sandra, which proves that she belongs up the front!

The Arrows are continuing with there fantastic season with a goal difference of 72 goals for and 8 goals against. Beating there only challange so far O/P Gold, who were the only team to beat them earliar in the rounds. But that loss well in the past, we’ve secured two wins against them since then.

Two weekends past the Arrows mangaged a 18-1 win vs Kohekohe. Props go out to Kohekohe for gaining the frist goal, giving our girls a real wake up call!

Last weekend the tough game was – Arrows vs One Puke gold and our girls came away with a nail biting 4-2 win, the closest game in a while, stand out performances from Tracey in goal, Marie with a fantastic goal drilled straight into the backboard, and Mallory making countless tackles on defense, solid performances from everyone else cementing their position on the top of the table.
